Where Le Mans meets Dakar

Danbury, CT — On a recent Marshall Pruett Podcast, SCG head Jim Glickenhaus reminisced over the early days of Le Mans racing. The vehicles Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus  creates recall the glory days of classic supercars. The SCG 004S is a street legal vehicle with a retro design reminiscent of the Maserati MC12 or the Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina. Like the McLaren F1, the SCG 004 features a central driving position.

Off road. In addition to its supercar pedigree, Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus is no stranger to dirt. In 2010, Glickenhaus acquired the Vic Hickey designed desert racer driven by Stevie McQueen in the 1969 Baja 1000. Inspired by the McQueen racer, SCG developed the Baja Boot which competed in the Baja 1000 for several years.
